Class Options

At Gravity Dance, we have three tiers of class offerings in an effort to offer class options that fit each family's specific needs. Whether you're brand new to dance, or looking to take your training to the next level, you can decide on the time commitment that works best for you and your child.

Performance Class Options

Our performance classes are ideal for dancers who have a passion for dance and love to get on stage and perform. These classes meet once per week and will have 3-4 performance opportunities throughout the nine month dance season. Costume payments are non refundable and are split into two equal installments due on October 15th & November 15th .All dancers will pay a year-end recital fee of $35 that is due on March 15th.

Premier Class Options

Our Premier Classes are for dancers who are ready to take their dance abilities to the next level! Dancers in a premier class will perform at our winter & spring recitals as well as compete at 2 competitions.



Costume & competition fees are non-refundable and are combined and split into 7 equal installments which are billed on the first of every month starting in November-May. Costume fees do not include shoes (unless otherwise notes). All dancers will pay a year-end recital fee of $35 that is charged to the card on file on March 15th. Dancers in a Premier Class are invited to participate in our production routine and have the option to add on a solo/duet/trio. They are also eligible to be considered for small group opportunities but must attend the lEDGEndary prep camp in July as well as auditions on July 24th so that we can see whom they dance well with to put groups together.



Dancers in a premier class are required to take a minimum of TWO summer dance sessions to continue their commitment to their dance training in the off season.

*Notes:

  • Tiny Twirl Premier is by invitation only. Dancers must have at least 1 year of prior dance experience and attend 2 summer dance camps or sessions.
  • Dancers who wish to take an acro/jazz class must also be enrolled in a ballet class. This could be a combo class with tap/lyrical/ballet or a stand alone ballet class.
  • Production practices will be held on Sunday evenings. Production will start the week of November 3rd. Dancers will attend rehearsals 1-2 times per month until February when we'll begin rehearsing all groups together. Official schedule will be sent in the fall to those registered.


Edge Team Class Options

Our Edge Company is for dancers who are dedicated to dance and looking to push themselves to their full potential by being well-versed in a wide variety of styles. Edge Company classes are our highest level of dance class offered at Gravity and requires a great amount of commitment. Dancers must enroll in a minimum of two summer sessions  and audition to be placed on a team.


Dancers who make a team are required to take all the classes listed within their group and have the choice of adding on additional small group opportunities. EDGE Company dancers will perform at our winter and spring recitals, compete at 3 competitions, and will be required to attend at least one dance convention. Dancers will also be required to be a part of our production routine which will compete at 1 competition. EDGE dancers also have the option to add on a solo/duet/trio.


Monthly tuition is based on a 9-month season (September-May) and is due on the first of each month. Costume fees do not include shoes (unless otherwise indicated). Costume & competition payments are added together and split into 9 equal installments due on the 15th of each month (September-May). All dancers will pay a year-end show fee of $35 that is charged to the card on file on March 15th.

EDGE teams will attend a nationals competition in the summer of 2025.

Lightning Sessions


Our lightning sessions are short-term sessions that are offered periodically throughout our season. These sessions are PERFECT for dancers who want to try out dance without the season-long commitment or for families with busy schedules that are only wishing to be in dance at various times.

There is no annual registration fee for any of our Lightning Sessions!
